• Image of CD: Téada - In spite of the storm

This album was recorded over a number of sessions in Dingle/Daingean Uí Chúis, Co. Kerry during the wonderful summer of 2013. Donogh Hennessy's studio was an ideal place to play music and with a sharp ear, infinite patience and energy, Donogh was a great man to have at the desk.

We've been touring for a number of years now with Séamus Begley and his beautiful, sweet singing voice, lively box playing, and endless humour have added enormously to our live show. It's exciting for us to release our first album with him as our newest member.

Ireland has been greatly transformed since the fever of materialism became frozen and the readjustments that have been made have been deeply felt. But as our late Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney said: "We are not simply a credit rating or an economy but a history and a culture".
Our music, songs, language and culture have deep roots; they will withstand any storm.
